Antique brass industrial light.
This light was likely utilized on Navy ships during the first World War. Benjamin is known for their industrial and marine lighting, owing to a long tradition of quality moisture and explosion-proof lighting. The socket and bulb are protected by a thick, glass original Benjamin shade that screw into the cage. This shade is, in turn, protected by a heavy-duty brass cage. the entire fixture is wall-mounted and is wired with a plug.
Exhibits minor scratches and tarnish on brass, but light is in working order. Glass exhibits permanent pitting on inside.
